FAQ - General Questions
What is FBO Real Estate?
FBO Real Estate is a nonprofit real estate advisory firm that specializes in fiduciary services to help faith-based organizations (FBOs) and not-for-profit entities unlock the economic and community potential of their underutilized real estate.
As a part of our services, we guide Faith Based Organizations through existing applicable legislation such as California Senate Bill 4 (SB 4), AB 1851/2244 and development processes to create sustainable, mission-aligned housing.
How is FBO Real Estate different from a traditional real estate firm?
Unlike traditional firms that prioritize developer profits, FBO Real Estate operates based upon FBO fiduciary protection—meaning we act solely in the best interests of faith-based and nonprofit institutions. We ensure that real estate decisions are mission-driven, financially sustainable, and legally sound.
